Brand spanking new to this i dont want a sump i wanna run a good protein skimmer along with a good phosban reactor any suggestions[emoji52] ooh i have a 55g

Well since you do not want a sump I would recommend a HOB type Skimmer. I have no experience with them personally but I am sure someone will chime in for you

Thanks... i might try a sump next year but im not trying to overwhelm myself just starting off and all... I'm already thinking about purchasing a aquamaxx hob tomorrow but i dont really see alot of reviews on it
