Helpful tips for fish removal

hey there, I need to remove my fish and don’t want to take apart all of my rockscape. Any ideas on how I can get a wrasse angel and two clowns out, Thanks!

Drain the tank down to about an inch of water, gives them less "escape room". I had to move a foxface and they are as fast as lightning. Drained tank way down and corned him/her without getting stabbed.

If you know where the sleep every night you can usually get them easily. Keep all lights on the tank and in the room off, you want darkness. Gently stick your hand or net in then aim and turn on a flashlight to where the fish should be and grab it while they are stunned by the light. You can try a fish trap also. They are hit or miss for me. Usually catch everything except what I want to catch.

Rather remove all my rock and use a piece of plexiglass to coral them to one side. I don’t have anywhere to put 75 gallons of water, and I’d still ya e to move all the rock if they hid as the water got low

A trap and really, really good bait. Go to your local seafood store and see what they have. I found some fish roe at mine, and it made catching fish a breeze when I was in your shoes. Clams, scallops, etc ... anything appetizing that won’t blow out of the trap.

My clowns - all varieties seem to sleep near the surface so those are easier. We bought a fish trap for tangs, angels, and wrasse types when we needed to get them. Only took a couple hours and they were in the trap going after shrimp and Nori.
