Herbie drain full siphon to spray bar

Do to size of skimmer I need to move my fuge to the first compartment and skimmer to second. The full siphon exits into the rear of the first compartment and doesn't turn my dragons breath at all so I was wondering if anyone had elbowed the drain line to a spray bar. Still keeping the one inch depth I was wondering if ill have problems achieving a full siphon? Thanks

I have not done what you are asking about. But I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work as you expect.

I would worry about the smaller holes being clogged over time. When I ran a return spray bar this was the reason I removed it. It needed constant maintenance to keep clean and free of debris.

You'd have to experiment to see. I would worry most about putting back pressure on the drain preventing the siphon from starting.
