Herbie or durso in a reef ready

Ive got a deep blue 35g reef ready which cane with two holes drilled to fit a 3/4” and a 1” bulkhead. It came with plumbing for a 1 1/4” durso drain and a 3/4” return with locline.

my question is, would you all recommend using the 1” hole for the main drain use the 3/4” as a secondary drain and just have the return come over the back of the tank for a herbie style or just go with the durso the tank came prepped for?

3/4” for main siphon and 1” as emergency.

Definitely go with a herbie setup. 3/4 main siphon, 1" emergency, returns over the back.
