I should’ve expected this, if it hadn’t appeared out of nowhere this afternoon.

now I know that algae happens, and I’ll just clean the sand, but if it’s just popping up like this, is there anything who will clean this up for me??
Also, the hermit crabs are pooping like crazy. How well will a couple of nassarius snails help?

Until I find those at the store, will manually cleaning up the sand do? And for the waste, nassarius snails should handle that, right?

I add in a little microbacter 7, and it clears it up for me. That much is not a very big deal tho.

Would purchasing more turbos help with this? I’m nervous to manually scrape it off the rocks because they’re barely held together by coral putty.
Moreso, is diatoms algae harmful, or just annoying to look at? I could probably easily clean it, I just want to make sure nothings wrong with my water when I add my first fish.

Looks like your ready for fish.
If you have a CUC already and ALGAE GROWING then its time for fish as the cycle is over.

Did you do your water change after the cycle ended? If so your water is good.
Test all your parameters first of course.

I’m planning a 3 gallon water change today. Thanks!
