Any idea what this is? Just started growing about 2 weeks ago and is encrusting pretty quick with some sort of tube and polyp coming out of the top. Sends out a slime string almost daily.

Vermited snail. They spread fairly fast so I recommend putting a dap of super glue over the opening or pulling the rock out and scrap it off. They are not necessarily bad it's just that the web irritates nearby corals.

In the 2 weeks I have noticed it it has never moved just grown. I will look it up, thank you for the help man that was quick.

In case you have trouble gluing or can't move rock, you might try just breaking them off at the base, trying to make sure to "get it all."

Yea they don't move. The tube burrowed into your rock is it's home. They spread by sending out their spawn with their web which land on another rock and they build a calcium tube and it just keeps repeating.

This is the first time I have ever seen them in any of my tanks I will evict it today.
