Here is another anemone to our collection.!

I am just starting have a 125 gal tank with live rock. The anemone that I have split when we moved the tank to my home...I think due to stress, but both of them look good and eat like pigs. These photos of these rock anemones are amazing. Does something like that live in a live rock tank? Or is this more of a coral tank thing?

no they can live in a rock tank i they were on the rocks before we brought them into that tank. they usually don't move once you put them somewhere but they will tend to sometimes once in a while move on you. but other then that there amazing creatures and if i was able to have them all i would. there so bright and beautiful pictures don't do justice.

Awesome combo tank. I know it is fairly shallow, do you ever have nems that want to crawl up and around? I want to let my nems roam free in a my 40b tank, but I am scared that they will want to move up and down and since there is no rock in that tank they have no real options. Because of that I have them in baskets on the top of the tank. I am open to ideas lol.

nope they don't move around in-less my girl adjusts the fans a different positions, but they don't move most of the time.

what type of lights are you running ? nd how far down in the water are they?

Right now they are in baskets sitting on the rim of the tank. But it is a chinese LED unit (3w 2:1 b:w ratio), that has no optics so the light reaches them fine (they aren't directly under the lights). They look pretty good though. I just don't want to place them into the actual tank and have them not get enough light.

they will have enough light i have chines lights also 3w 2:1 ratio and mine you can adjust the light tone. and my girl had a 26high tank by 36inlong and 12 wide. soo im pretty sure your 40B will be fine enough .

her RBTA are on the bottom of the tank here is a video so you can get a little look at them on where there placed and what type of flow.

we have 1 WP25 on minimum flow

Talk about a shaky camera XD Cool vid though. Yeah it seems from the reflection that it may be the same light, just mine isnt dimmable. Here is a pic of some of mine. I am debating maybe on moving one into the tank. Just the tank has no substrate or rock, so I really didn't want them just stickin to the glass. I may use a pot like you did though.

Haha, thanks. I have 2xK4's in the tanks just blowing towards the baskets, so what ever is getting through the holes is hitting them. Trust me I know, nems are very addicting lol. I am just torn cause I want to throw them in the tank and not have them in a basket -.-
