Got water and rock set and tank is running

My suggestion to you would be to move the rocks from being so close to the glass so that you would have easy access for the cleaning magnet to clean side glass
If I am not mistaking you used to have fresh water fish in this tank? Did you treat the fish with any copper medication?

The guy i got it from did have as freswater yes and the rock are not against the glass as it looks i have room for a magnet to get in there. Also i did not do anything with cooper and fish the tank was cleaned with vinegar and set in heated garage to dry for 3 days. Hope that is enough to work.
 
I bought the tank dec 27 and nothing went in it until the jan 1 i started to put it all together
 
Looking good! Thanks for sharing! I'm with KJ, those rocks look really close to the glass, might be the bowfront causing an illusion in the photo, but it might end up driving you nuts over the long haul :)

When the time comes @purkey, I've got some Birds Nest coral I'll give you. I've got tons, don't want it, and neither do most reefers who've been doing this a while it seems. It's beautiful, but a lower end coral.

Anyway, you can use it to just test the tank and light capabilities. If it doesn't make it, that's okay. If it does, then you know.
