Nice little start. And I agree. Looks like aptasia. Them things are bad and multiply like weeds. All you need is one and you blink and have 50
 
you can get a peppermint shrimp to eat those up! They get rid of aiptasia fast and are cheap as well!
 
That's nice to know. I never ha that prob so I never looked into it to far. Just heard of people using aptasia x or something. At least you would get more benefit from the shrimp
 
Peppermint shrimp will work, although need to make sure you get actual peppermint shrimp. Also have read people use a little bit of kalk and also have read that others have used a little bit of epoxy to seal them into their hole. Many different options for getting rid of them, from my reading some seem to work better than others.
 
Welcome and great start on your tank and glad you ask about those nems because they are bad joojoo in a reef tank.
