Here we go again. Nuisance Algae. HELP!

The same old story for me can’t keep my nutrients up. Before I had lots of green hair algae so the belief was the nitrates & phosphates were locked up in the algae giving me false readings.

Nitrate 2.5
Phosphate: 0

Need help getting my nutrients up and ultimately getting over this nuisance outbreak. Tank been running for 2 years now.
I’ve had skimmer off for a week, limiting my refugium use.

looks like you could use more CuC, recommend trochus snails. Skimmer off is what fixed zero nutrients for me as well. I still have to scrape my glass weekly, I think that's normal and healthy.

You think clean up crew will clean up this algae ? What even is it

Looks like dinos. Need cheap microscope to ID which type caused by bottomed out nutrients.
