Hermit crab climbing in my sps

have some hermit crabs, the ones with blue legs. thought they did a good job - but occasionally see them climbing my sps corals. then it seems that the corals get somewhat irritated and pull the polyps in. is this a problem?

I just pulled one of my blue leg hermits doing the same thing to a forest fire digi that has nothing wrong with it. He would sit there day and night pestering it.
