Hermit crab molt. Is this normal?

Hi all, I have a saltwater reef tank with 2 mocha clownfish and 2 hermit crabs. I just got the fish and crabs on monday. Today I found what I believe is a molt. Both crabs are still in their shells and are moving around eating, so this is probably a molt and not a carcass, right, Sorry photo is hard to see… the crabs are tiny right now

I can't really make much out from that picture but I was unsure the first time my Halloween Hermits molted as I wasn't expecting a full colour molt, rather a transparent skin much like a snake.
They've done it a few times now as well as my Banded Coral Shrimp. I always remove the molt although some leave them in for food.
