Hermit crab molts?

Has anyone ever tried feeding their hermit crab molts to rock flower nems? They pop up about once every other week and I was curious.

It’s just sitting in the open it’s a small tank so I usually take them out when I see them. But thought maybe a food source but I’m new so I didn’t know if it was safe or has been done before.

Not much nutrition in them. Better off feeding them prawns or other meaty foods

I saw this post last night and thought to myself that an RFA probably wouldn't try to eat a crab molt.

Then I awoke today to this...

i caught my open brain eating a peppermint shrimp molt.
all i saw was the tentacles sticking out of its mouth. looked pretty funny.

I’ve seen my candy cane eat peppermint shrimp molts. I also have a few hitchhiker crabs that will eat the hermit molts. I don’t take molts out.
