Very cool to watch.
I bet your fish thought it was christmas getting tasty little treats ha ha ^_^
Just out interest if any larvae managed to escape in the flow which im guessing alot would as this reason why nature has evolved to let so many go at once correct?
Would they survive/ grow if landed in tight crevices in the rocks ? Like could they eat small detritus in rockwork or would they need to be in seperate tank with low flow and fed a small food like rotifiers/ baby brine shrimp?
Just thought on they would need miniscule shells as they start growing also?

Thanks guys! It is very cool to watch. I also had a chance to video a pair of coral banded shrimp that released their larvae earlier this month. Too bad most if not all became fish food. I did caught a few of the hermit crab larvae and dump in a spare 5gal tank, throw some tiger pods and phyto. As of this afternoon they ate still survive and floating around. Will keep you guys updated.
