Hermit crab shells

Hey all

I currently have a 40B with two black ice occ clowns and 6 yellow foot hermits to manage any uneaten food. My question is, for someone in my position, where do you all get your hermits shells? My LFS is just about out of stock and hasn’t been able to tell me over the phone when they’ll get more. I plan on making a trip down there tomorrow to see if they could order some for me. But if they’re not able to, where do you all recommend I turn? I’ve looked on amazon but going by reviews most of the “packs” that I’ve looked into have enough bad reviews that I’d like to look elsewhere. I’ve also looked at Live Aquaria but they’re out of stock. I don’t know how long it will be before my crustacean vacuums need new shells, but I’d rather have them on hand as several of the six have molted at least once. Thanks!

The amazon pack was ok IMHO. A bit overpriced, but it's the kind of thing you probably will only ever have to buy once. There was a good variety of sizes all the way up to silly big. All I can say is that my hermits have used them and haven't resorted to killing snails.

I believe reefcleaners.org sells empty shells at about 8 cents a piece.
