Hermit Crab Shells?

I just bought Halloween hermit crabs from a fish store that claimed they are 3"+ and I'm looking to put shells in my tank for them. Can I buy the shells listed for sale on Amazon or what shells are recommended for these guys?

Halloween hermits are reported to prefer/use cone shells like the following:

Empty Cone Shells (4)

This is for an assortment of four empty cone shells, they are used as homes for Halloween Hermit Crabs.

Yup that would have been a good idea . Chalk this one up to learning mistakes . My two halloweens died and i am guessing they just outgrew their shells.

They do like the cone shells they didnt move into any of the other larger shells in my tank
