Hermit crabs mating?

I saw one of them positioning one infront and started to thrust my tank has been on going for 3 months now water is up to date and they have been going on for 10 hours or so but when I saw them thrusting It made me wonder... What are these two doing? Lol and is this a good sign?

Here's a pic of them they have been like this since 4:00pm - 2:30am now

Hermit crabs "thrusting"... that's a first! Maybe one is trying to get the others shell? That'd be my guess.

Yep that's so true! He's in a new shell and one is out of the shell missing an arm.
