Hermit crabs?

Nothing will happen. Many reefers do not keep them due to their destructive natures.
I myself have only 2 in my 26g. Both very well behaved, or else they'd be gone :)

My blue and red leg do a good job of "grazing" over my rocks and cleaning any crude off my corals. My problem is they seem to not like the empty shells I put in for them as they grow and prefer to kill the snails of the shells they want. This is my big guy (he attacked, killed, and then ate the turbo) and I have to actually feed him silversides or he terrorizes the rest of the tank. He is a bulldozer as well.

Yeah if you have hermits have tiny ones. When they get large like that they become predatory and I have a buddy who fed his corals one night. The next morning he awoke to see his biggest hermit shredding the whole mouth out of his SCOLY to get a piece of shrimp he fed it.
Needless to say the SCOLY died and so did the hermit. He doesn't keep hermits anymore. Just snails.
