Hermits picking at frags, stop them or not?

First frags in the tank and some of my hermits just won't leave them alone, especially a paly. Would you pull them away or assume maybe he's just cleaning off some algae? Paly was closed at first but has opened back up now. Thanks!

I'd imagine he is eating around the paly. Hermits get a bad rep but usually it's not deserved
