Hermits!!

So I have some hermits and I've been seeing alot of what looks like bodies but I think they might be sheds? Can anyone shed some light on this please?

It's hard to see from this angle, but it looks like it's just a shed

I had a few outgrow their shells, found them skinny dipping around the tank before the fish got to them. My LFS sells random empty snail and hermit shells so they can move in when ready. Prevents them from attacking each other and your snails too. Not sure if that’s it but it’s possible

Oh and if it is a shed, leave it in the tank because they eat them when they are done.
