I kept seeing R2R anytime I would Google a question so figured I'd be better off joining!
My husband and I just started reefing 5-6 months ago. Before that we had fresh water for a couple of years. We always talked about going salt, but with him being military we were always moving and didn't want to pour money into something that we would likely have to tear down within a couple of years. However, now that he is on his twilight tour and I know we aren't going anywhere for a while, we decided to give it a go!
I'll tell you what. I LOVE IT! At first I was all about the fish. I wanted them all because they were so much prettier than freshwater fish. Then I realized how beautiful coral was. Then I wanted all the coral! Now I'm addicted to mushrooms. To me they are the coolest. I love the flowy, bouncy nature of them (along with hammers, duncans, frogspawns, and torches(which I don't have any of yet
).
I just wish they weren't so darn expensive! Whew!
Anyways, I look forward to chatting with y'all and getting to know you!
By the way, is there a trade or buy portion of the forums? Just getting started we don't have a ton, but we also don't have much to spend either. Are the prices here fair?
