Hey Guys,
Im sorry to bug ya but I came home yesterday to find that my Odyseaa CA 2200 pump which was running for over a year in my tank, has lost its return pressure. It was trickling out the water no where near the pressure it was doing. I started to panic and quickly changed out the pump to another one of the same brand. Here's the thing. I wen to the kitchen sink and cleaned out the sponge and filled the sink full of water and then turned it on and POW it worked perfect again. I cant figure this out. Why would the pump start doing this!.

It also happended to my new one 2 days later so i keep swapping them out. So I think there maybe a clog in my UV sterilzer, is that possible? Can a clog happen in my UV sterilzer or maybe the return nozzle. The clear 3/4 tube looks fine. Any feedback you guys can give me would be awesome. Did this happen to anyone else as well.

the brand Odyseaa has really had some bad reviews in the past. Ive had a light fixture from them and had no problems but for something as a pump I would spend the extra few bucks and get a quality name brand.

Thanks for the response ,
update***
I decided to take out all of my pumps and give them a through cleaning and to my surprise they all back to normal. So now I know that every 6-9 months I'm going to give them a real good cleaning. Everything is perfect again in my fishy world. Yeah!

Ya its amazing what a good cleaning can do. Sometimes it may be a propellar shaft going bad or sticking. On 1 of my pumps and a few powerheads - if I shut them down I always have to fiddle with them when I turn back on to get them going(slightly opening the proppeller area until it starts up and than closing back up)
