Hello reefkeepers looking for some advice on how I go by swapping my reef tank into the bigger tank I just purchased. If someone could give me some advice I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you

welcome to the group and start the new tank first adding RO water , salt mix and powerheads. Let it mix within new tank, then add sand. Once the tank clears, verify salinity then start adding bacteria such as Dr Tims one and only. 24hrs later add some live rock. The day after, you can add additional rock. If all checks out day 4-5, start adding your coral. If all looks good at end of day 7, add a couple of test fish. If they are doing well 48 hrs later, add remaining fish and bacter 7 bacteria daily for 14 days.
That's how I did my 360 to a 660g with no losses

Thank you but what should I do with the fish and coral that I have in my tank now?

Leave them in the old tank and feed while tank is seeding. ALSO: Acclimate them to new tank as you would with a new arrival.

Sorry for all the questions but do you think I could drain the water out of my old tank and put in a brute container just so I can move it out of the space so I can put the new tank in?

Yes you can. Not sure how big the old tank is, but I was in the same situation 2 years ago and I drained tank down to 1/3 saving the water and had a helper lift the tank and placed it on 1.25" Pvc and used the PVC as a roller and moved the tank 7 feet away and placed new tank in that spot, then pumped the tank water back into old tank
