Hey guys! got a question for R.O resin

So, i ordered some but it still hasnt came unfortunatly and i need some water, would it be okay to run new carbon, new sediment filter and only around 3/4 full di chamber? would i be okay to get some gallons from this until my new resin comes about? thank you.

the di resin needs to be tightly packed or the water will channel through it and not be filtered. it would be better to use a used up tightly packed di canister than a new one that is too loose to work at all.
