This has been growing and dont know what to do to get rid of it, i dosed Nopox for a couple of weeks and helped a little at first but then it continued growing..

I have a 210 gal reef with refugium my parameters are

8.0 Alk
0 nitrates
400 calcium
0 Po4

Thanks

Id like a close up. Your the master but I really wanna say those are coral.

Either way, IMo, id smother those with putty right away and pull easy rocks and kill or put em in a bucket w powerhead to treat. Big colonies of some things are harder to kill. Like blue clove polyps and a couple types of tubeworms, red shrooms, and also hydroids . The reproduction rate can be big in large numbers.
Put the tank on a diet (keep fish happy but..) and be ready to do some light killing clean up.

What type of diet? Im only feeding frozen mysis, how do you recommend killing them?

Take coral putty and make it a flat thin disk. put super glue gel one one side and put it over the stuff ya wanna kill. with luck it dies. if it doesn't we have to find a plan B

If it doesn't die by Putty, a small rock with the badguy on it goes in a bucket of tank water with a powerhead. Then you try out a well known reef safe pesticide to see what kills it. Salifert flatworm exit etc etc
Then use it on the tank.

Strain the mysis a bit or dilute the juice.

Ok will do, just put the putty in. Will report back soon. Thanks
