Hey guys this is my 2nd attempt at reefing

I've recently purchased a aqua one 90l reef tank. It's my first tank with a sump, although a very small one at that. I tried to run a reef tank 5yrs ago that ran OK until we had a few bad cyclones in a row back in 2017 on the east coast of Australia. My attempt at reefing was basically a 2foot breeder with a reef octopus hob skimmer and 10kg of very live rock including many cool and some bad hitchhikers.. Fast forward to last month, bought the tank, 10kg of dead rock and filled with my local nsw and started my cycling... Happy days

Best of luck this round! Can't say I would guarantee the weather is not going to be crazy and impact you. But maybe now being a bit wiser and having backup plans would add some security.

I really not looking forward to losing a reef. Hopefully it never happens because im able to learn from this community.

Thanks man, I didn't have a lot of coin invested back then but I spent a lot of time trying to get it back after the floods and eventually gave up with not enough love... Now hopefully onwards and upwards
