um it was just at my LFS, I bought it new for like $165Welcome to R2R! How did you find the Evo??
No I mean how did you find it as an aquarium? What was the light like for growth etcum it was just at my LFS, I bought it new for like $165

I really never ran the stock light, I bought a current USA loop light that was good enough for a bit but then I decided to get a Prime HD honestly that's the best thing you can do for that tank. I feel that the Evo is an incredible tank to get your feet wet and learn how to do this thing we call reef keeping. It's just amazing for learning. I pretty much decided before my tank was even cycled that the stock filter was not the best so I bought the inTank media basket for Chamber 1 it was great later down the line I bought the Icecap K1 Skimmer that I still use today in my Nuvo 20. The best wave pump I believe you can buy for that tank especially if you want to use the Current loop system is the Loop Wave pump it worked great. Overall if anyone ever asks me what tank to start off with I tell them the Evo 13.5. it's not expensive, it's small enough to have in an apartment or dorm. its an AIO so it's also simple. so it gets high remarks from me. I feel like it sets you up perfectly for a natural progression to a waterbox 40 cube or something similar. I am limited to my apartment so 20 is as much as I get until I move. If you ever have any questions feel free to hmu anytime. No I mean how did you find it as an aquarium? What was the light like for growth etc
