Let's start this with a I am 2-3 year exp in this hobby. I started with a 90 gallon reef tank until I moved and had to break it down. Condo rules they didn't want fish tanks on the second floor due to insurance reasons. But I have slowly buying things for when I buy a house. Like equipment , and tank 240 rimless. I can't wait to get that one going . But in the mean time I have had to crave my hunger for a reef . So I have snuck a 8 gallon in my bed room. Lol . It is a LPS and softie tank with inverts and a pair of clowns. No sump or skimmer. I am in the process of building a custom stand to house all the equipment like sump, apex , skimmer, dosing pumps, reactors, uv , etc. which I have all this already . Just taking it slow right now. Because I am in the process of building a 55 gallon twin tank connected by two 6 in travel tubes at my buddies house. I have slowly bought the 14-15 corals that are in the tank and am dosing coralvite, phytoplankton, fuel and calcium. I am about to start dosing for ALK and mag as well. Since starting the dosing and target feeding almost everything in the tank has doubled in heads/mouths . So all is well with the pico. But it is very easy for this tank to spike in lvls so I keep a very close eye on it. As you all who have had them know. It is getting a little easier maintaining this tank then it was at first and I am getting to the point that I am running out of room to put things . And want to upgrade to maybe a 14-36 gallon rimless and continue to hide it in the bed room. Well that's enough from me for now. I am excited to dive into the post on this forum and contest I hear so much about on my facebook due to the fact I have been following this site there for a while. Ty and I hope to get to know a lot of you well! Ty Freddy
