Anybody else notice that buying acropora from Top Shelf Aquatics. They just set at a stand still and never grow? Or is it just my tank because all my other acropora are doing very well. Lemme know your thoughts.

I don't think TSA has harnessed the ability to control growth of their acros in other peoples tanks.
Having said that, I believe the lack of growth, compared to other acros you have, is due to the coral adjusting to your tank and that your tank parameters may be vastly different than the environment that they came from.
I've had corals sit for almost a year with zero growth before they took off.

a lot of corals, specifically SPS take a while to really pop off. they "base" out, encrusting at the base before branching out.
i currently have a few frags of SPS that i've had for 2mo+ that have shown no signs of growth other than at the base.
