I was wondering what you need to sps coral. I have a 10 gallon anemone and clownfish tank with a couple soft coral that's doing good. My lighting is a t5 high output.

Yikes. You really havent told us anything to jugde your tanks ability to grow SPS.

I really dont know where to start other than suggest you start to read....lots. But even better yet if you can also find local reefer(s) that can guide you that is the best.

Well what does a tank need to grow it. If my soft coral like pulsing xzina or however it's spelled and mushrooms are doing great and splitting I have leather tree growing great. So I figure if that's doing good do you think the sps would do good? I also have a Gregorian

The fact that you can grow soft corals does not translate into growing SPS.

What you need for SPS is all the basic stuff on steriods.

You can grow SPS with T5HOs. IMO lighting is the easy part. Soft coral and SPS coral come from and thrive in different environments. Softies are more tolerant of "dirty" water. With SPS your water must be tip-top and STABLE. Soft corals will thrive in 20ppm NO3 while SPS will eventually turn brown or die.
