Hey Something happened to my Wrasse over night

Hi all i have a carpenters flasher wrasse. He has been fine since i purchased him about 5 months ago. I just purchased a larger tank i set up everything and i moved almost all my rocks over except for the ones with corals. This morning i was cleaning and i realized he had marks on him. White faded patches, i know what it is and what it looks like it is not ich it is patches of faded color. Also now i see a tiny cut on his side. He is usually not bothered by other fish usually hes the one bothering others. Could he have gotten stuck in a rock or is something worse happening and i also have some crabs but specifically 2 are large

And will he be ok

Looks like a bruce. Maybe with the moving of the rock he got spooked and ran into a couple of rocks. They are fast swimmers. What fishes do you have in their? What size tank do you have? Is their aggression in the tank? To heal the bruces faster add garlic to their food. You can also add slime coat to the tank.

Alright its currently in a 56 tall with 2 clowns 2 chromis 1 watchman goby 1 yellow tank and 1 hippo going into a 75 gal reef ready the only fish with aggression is the yellow tang and it is never on the flasher he used to bother the chromis and hippo but hasnt in a long time and the flasher actually picks on the chromis when he feels like it the chromis are the blue green reef chromis

Wrasse need space to swim side to side. But if they are moving to a 75g that is perfect. Just give him time to heal add garlic for vitamins an slim coat. Shut the lights when ever you can. It reduces stress within the fishes. Just be careful with your corals.

Those marks certainly look like scratches from darting into rocks during the chaos of moving rocks. They will heal pretty quickly on their own.

I wouldnt worry about turning the lights off as carpenter's are not a deep water fish so tank lights being on are ot a stressor for them.
