First off new here, been lurking for a while and must say I do enjoy this forum, and have gained lots of info from it.

Background, have kept a small 14g Biocube for nearly 10 years, never had much for corals as I could not find small frags around here. Lost some interest due to it being a FOWLR tank for years. Last winter I started have more interest, noticed the tank was leaking, moved everything out for a few days and resealed it. Then found local shops with tonnes of frags.....thus my interest skyrocketed, and am back in head first. Loving it more than ever now that I can keep corals.

My tank
BC 14
240gph return pump
Koralia nano
Stock PC lighting
Additional LED blue light bar...DIY variety

Live rock, sand, purigen and GAC, and some GFO to help lower phosphates.

I dose ALK currenltly, Kent super buffer, change water 1-2 litres every day or two.

OC Clown
Rubby Fairy Wrasse
7 Hermits
8-9 assorted snails

Torch
Frogspawn
Acan
Cyphastrea
GSP
Zoas
Monti Cap
Pink BN
Birds of paradise
Pavona
Green Slimer
Poccilipora
Duncans
Seabae, my clown wont host. Notoriously tough to keep but mine looks great after almost a year

All SPS are up high close to the lights, Monti and Pavona do well, Pink BN and Pocillipora were going well until a Bicolor saw them as food.....they are slowly recovering.

Params as of right now - Reef Crystals salt

Alk - 8.5
Calc - 350-370
Mag - 1500 ish
Nitrate - 0
Phos - between .08 ans .16

Red Sea test kits

Thoughts on N and P being out of whack? Thoughts on P level, and getting it down?

Calcium is low, I attribute this to recent addition of slimer, and Birds of paradise, as it was generally steady around 400-420

Thoughts on MANUAL dosing of Calcium an ALK? Not interested in automation....electronics fail, and you end up with water everywhere...lol

Long winded I know, but thanks for any input.

I would look into two part dosing honestly. that many stony corals esp the monti is going to bit ya in the but. The jebo doser was a good deal and reliable and inexpensive. IME a monti will suck up that calcum and keep growing the other stoney's will grow slower. manual is fine too, just keep up.
the po4 is fine your already dealing with it well. more animal, more Po4 uptake + gfo = fine.

How frequently do you do water changes? I think that given your water volume of 14g water changes would be the easiest way to maintain your parameters Others will chime in

Every day or two. 1-2 liters. About once a month I vacuum and do a lager water change

Explain 2 part? Mix a Calcium supplement with my Kent Buffer? Which supplement for calcium?

Check out BRS 2 part

I'm not sure you'll be able to keep up with water changes.

Oh and holy crap that's a lot of coral in a 14! Hopefully you can trade frags for store credit.

Haha, keep in mind most of them are small frags. Frogspawn and duncans are both a good size though, monti is getting there. I can trade in for credit, which helps a lot with cost actually.

BRS is out...I am up in Canada EH! With our dollar and shipping I easily pay twice as much...

BRS or ESV. alk and cal should be dosed evenly. Eh? Test your cal and alk to make sure its not too far out, shouldn't be but.
