Hey Who is Gonna be Going to MACNA?

I am excited about MACNA this year.. I know that it is still a ways off Sept. 5,6,7 But I know I'll be there and I wonder whos face I can finally put with a name??

Really want to see the new Atlanta Aquarium "The biggest in the WORLD" has anyone been there yet?

ive been to the atlanta aquarium the first year it was opened and it was nice, but the reef tank they had was filled with fake corals so it wasnt great
i do know they put live corals in there and waiting for them to grow out and then taking the fake stuff out, does anyone know if the live stuff grew out yet?
im guessing macna is in atlanta then this year? maybe ill head up that way then, i have a few vacation days i dont know what to do with

I will most likely go this year to macna.... The Atlanta aquarium would be awsum to see... Just saw a special on it...

I will be at imac though for sure... I just got a email from Dennis Gallagher who runs Imac and this is the last one he is doing because of health issues... So unless someone else takes over Imac this will most likely be the last..

i was there about a year ago, and they did have live corals in the deep areas of the tank. but they didn't look good at all. lots of dead caps and other montis.

on the behind the scenes tour, you can go up and look in the lagoon above the reef tank. and there are alots of live corals up there, mostly softies and LPS.

i don't know if i'll be there, but its tempting (not sure what the room availability is like).

considering how close Rev is to Atlanta, it would be ashame not to have a R2R booth there and some sort of meet and greet.

Yes, I will be at the dinner. It was very nice last year in Pitt. so I wouldn't miss the dinner again this year. Plus I would love to have dinner beside those big tanks as well. I will be there from Wens to Sun. Going to make a vacation out of it since I only take off about 4 or 5 days a year.

We should work on some shirts, I am sure Rev is doing it all ready. I wore my Club-Zoa shirt at MACNA last year.

I am going to make up some R2R shirts! Also I think I can get a booth for $500 since I will not be there for profit.

And of course I will let you all chip in to pay for it Brian!!!
