The sales forum on Reef2Reef is available to members that have been a member for 30 days and have 25 meaningful posts (A meaningful post will involve more than saying things like "nice tank" or "I agree." Something meaningful will often be sharing one's knowledge and experience with others and actively participating in hobby related discussions). Use of this forum is available immediately to R2R Supporters (Want to be a Supporter? Click here!).

^^yup

Thank you but being that I'm new to reefing I don't have much meaningful things to say I'm still learning and I'm pretty busy with life I haven't been on here in months. I know that's not the best response sorry but its the truth.

Something like this could be considered a meaningful response. Basically they don't want you commenting "yeah" or "nice tank" 25 times just to use the forum to sell stuff :) engage in conversation, ask questions, participate in conversations with your experiences, or go into detail on your posts about other people's tanks that you like.

That’s ok. I’m not very knowledgeable either but I do still chime in on things I know. Plus the more you hang around and read, the more you’ll learn. I started reefin last year and there’s still so much I don’t know. I still consider myself a beginner but I can ask questions and get fast accurate and kind answers.

I believe something like this would also qualify :)

I have also noticed it tends to take money. However this is my promise and my gift; ten years back my husbands mom had a heart attack and he was having severe back issues. A dr refused to help him if he didn’t stop smoking and the doctors were on MIL as well. So they needed to stop. I said I would also, simply cause I didn’t want the temptation in the home. And we all promised that with the money we saved we would spend on something that makes us happy.

My fish funds are my old smoking finds :) it works itself out even though things can get quite sketchy at times. I do understand the need to get out of the hobby though.

Hows this for meaningful? How in the crap do I control all this algae with out using chemicals ? All my parameters are correct and most of the corals seem to be growing and my lights are low as far as intensity goes on about 7-8 hrs
