Hey! I've been looking at this forum via facebook for some time now and just now signed up. I don't have a reef tank YET but I plan to in the next few months. My wife and I are wanting one but I'm trying to learn everything I can before I go spending a bunch of money on stuff. I've been into freshwater for a year or two now and have a 38 gallon African cichlid tank but I'm ready for more of a challenge. Any tips, tricks, or guidance would be much appreciated.

First off, WELCOME to R2R. Biggest tip I could give you or anyone beginning in this hobby is to RESEARCH EVERYTHING and purchase the largest tank that you can afford, take care of and have room for. The larger the overall volume the easier and more stable the system will be..... within reason of course.

Cheers, Todd
