what i'm trying to score now is a goby/pistol shrimp pair i dont like the prices for a pistol shrimp in town and CRA said they'll have one next week but thats what i'm kinda set on next til i get my 55 up and running

If you are looking for a pistol shrimp, I recommend that you try Alpheus randalli pistol shrimp. It's smaller than other pistol shrimp but a lot prettier. Both Yellow Watchman Gobies and High Fin Gobies live with them in my tanks.
