Hi everybody

I’m not sure how to reply to everybody, but I doubled up on the filter floss and it is rapidly clearing. By morning, it should be pristine. I mean, it’s practically perfect right now. Thanks for your advice, everybody. I’m sure I’ll have more questions as time goes by.

First time reefer. I used some Arag alive sand, not the one with bacteria in it, but the dry kind. I rinsed it several times before sticking it in the tank. It’s been about three days and it’s still cloudy. I just have a sponge filter with ceramic filter media. It has gradually gotten clearer, but I think it’s just the silt settling. I have bio cubes and activated carbon that are not currently in the filter. What filtration media will remove my cloudiness?
Thanks,
Adam
This stuff works well as long as you have a way to force water through it:
