Hi Everyone. Glad to be here. Can you help

Welcome to R2R! Interesting, almost worm(caterpillar) like, I noticed you have a puffer, have you seen him eat or pick at them? They could also be rhizomes from plant
No, no fish or other sea creatures eat these. I thought that they could be sprouts, but not seeing any plants pop up. They’re over 6 months old.

WELCOME!!!!
Yup, KJ nailed it! They aren't exclusive to the Carribean. I had them in my refugium. All disappeared after a while. They are relatively delicate.

Hi again. I’m so impressed with all the replies. Thank You so very much.
Is it ok to leave that algae in the tank?
It’ll probably die back after while. If not, I’d peel it off if it gets out of control. It’s very pretty.

Oh... welcome to the reef! We love pictures (hint, hint)!

Those green things are neomeris annulate which are a lightly calcified species of green macro algae that are in either small clusters or even single fingers. They have a darker green finger-like upright which are spongy and fuzzy at the top. This particular algae appear on collected live rock from the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans and are harmless and non evasive.
