Been browsing the R2R forums for a while and figured it was time to make an account.
Sharing this account with my dad so we can both educate ourselves more about reef-keeping and the reef-keeping community.
My dad’s been in the fish hobby for a long time (late 80s early 90s). He got me in to the hobby while living in Indonesia. The LFS’s there were crazy! Such a wide variety of fish and corals at dirt cheap prices. Saw things that were probably illegal too, ie piranhas, blue ring octopus and remora sharks for sale.
We’ve had multiple freshwater and saltwater aquariums throughout the years. Currently have a 90 gal freshwater and a 20 gal salt (5 gal sump) upgrading to a 40 gal long (with 20 gal sump)
