Hi guys, could you please advise?
I've just set up a TMC 90 reef Habitat and fitted a clarisea 3000. The tank package came with a jedco 2500 return pump, I'm struggling to balance the level of water in the display and sump. My question is, is the return pump big enough or do I need to upgrade? I will attach a picture of my sump set up.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome! You came to the right place!

as far as your question about the return pump, I’m not familiar with I’m that model. Do you know what the gph (gallons per hour) rating is?

Hi the return pump has a max flow of 2500L per hour I think that works out at 549 gph.

There is a 1" ball valve on the over flow pipe from tank to sump you just can't see it because of the clarisea sorry it's not a very good picture
Sometimes is can take some playing with. Taking water out, adding water, open valve a little, close valve a little lol if the pump came with the setup it’s probably okay. I’d imagine you’ll have to make an adjustment, then wait a few minutes until you get a feel for it.
