Hey every one,

I have been lurking in the shaddows on the forum for the last few weeks and finnaly deceided to start getting involved by saying hey.

I have been reefing for nearly 15 years now and have a pair of ocillaris clowns that have been with me from the start.

I however have gone through the period that a lot of reefers seem to go through of not having enough time for my tank due to a young family and building our home etc.

So for the last 3 years i have let the tank go to the GHA. For the last 3 months i have not been able to get on top of it so i will start a post in another area about what i have done , my tank dwtails and if any one else has any other ideas on how to help.

I look foward to being part of the community.

Above is what my tank used to look like sadly. Below is what it is now.

Unfortunately i thought i knew a lot about reefing but the GHA issue has tought me a lot more about reefing lol and proves you never know all. I have today removed most of my LR as it is the last piece of the puzzle that i think i needed to complete as its the only thing i can put down to high phosphates continually in my tank as the rock will be leaching the past 3 years worth lol.

GHA is 10 tomes worse then the above picture. I took almost all rock out today. Will start a post in the algae section for help

Thanks for the welcome every one. Is good to get on a forum with activity again. The australian one's are good but seem to have very little activity compared to what they used to have.

Will start the post in algae now just to get any ones feed back. Patients is what i have but after 3 months and 2000L of water changes and upgrades on gear something has to change lol
