Been honest, I found this forum while looking for a solution for my new dinoflagellates problem, and I am completely lost with it...
I have a 120L reef tank.

Dino's are a nasty bunch, most often they can be controlled through proper nutirent management. I am also a big fan of aggressive physical removal of the mats and affected areas, getting as much as possible outside of the tank without spreading it inside the tank.

Welcome too R2R ..looks like dinos coolia, some info over your tank will help..how old ...params ..lights and schedule..how long have you had them ...any changes in your tank recently???

I started this proyect 10 months ago, the light I have is a mars aqua 165, tunze 9004 skimmer, soft corals and fish like perculas, centropyge, and a dart fish...
Have a wave maker jevao 4000l/h and the next parameters (salifert tests):

Well I can tell you what worked for me when I had them after researching

I did a 3 day blackout of the tank, with windows and doors closed and lights off. I also increased flow to the affected areas.

After 3 days when the lights came on the dinos had gone and I believe the increased flow kept them away and they never came back.

The blackout is just like a storm in the ocean and won’t affect the corals etc.

Just what worked for me and I appreciate there can be different types.

Edit: after seeing the pictures are you sure they are dinos ? Mine had bubbles coming out of their brown ‘snottyness’

With only soft corals in your tank I'd also suggest 3 days lights out .. if youd had sps in there I'd advise against it ...

About the dinoflagelates, best way to fight them is avoiding water changes. Maybe you have feeding issues to correct. Or bad relation between N and po4. Patience is your best weapon.

Improve water conditions as you did with flow and observe.

Well, the algae on the glass its green and it doesnt have bubbles, while in some parts of the rocks... Brown and bubbles...
And yeah, this morning I checked it out with a microscope, and it looks like dinos.
Have to say im using theraP and special blend to improve whater conditions.

I would raise your mag as well 1200 is a little on the low side ...I like to keep mine around 1350-1400 Ish... I also noticed keeping my temp at 26 ish seemed to help a little too
