Hi Everybody.
My name is Thomas, Danish national living in Thailand.
I have had fresh water tanks most of my life, but not the past 11 years in Asia.
Since I practically live on the beach, enjoy fishing and snorkeling I have decided to give it a try with a saltwater aquarium. I have been lurking on R2R the past 2 months and hope I have learned enough from your good forum to get started..
My plan is to make a 360l tank with 125l sump in a shaded corner on my balcony.
I will post a thread soon and ask tons of questions
I am completely green with Saltwater, so please bear with me and my noob questions.
One of my previous tanks from DK. 1050l discus aquarium. With a 300l mechanical sump filter I was able to run endless months with no water changes. Discus larvae developed healthy until they started to swim and got eaten. I think I had 24-25 discus from 18-22cm (height) at the time of this picture, all of them handpicked out of 400 discus I fed up from 5cm.
Thank you for all the good reading and information. Keep sharing..
