Hi, got my first salt worried about quality

So I just received my first shipment of salt, and the bag had a hole in it. Will that affect the salt and all the parameters that come with it?

I would send a photo to the vendor and advise him of the situation. In many cases, vendors will send a replacement.

If the salt has absorbed moisture, I would be hesitant to use it. If the salt is still dry and not clumped, its probably ok. I'm sure some may think it's to risky to use. My concern would be if something foreign could have gotten into the bag to contaminate the salt. If the bag was inside a box and the box was intact, I think that would be unlikely.

Yeah it isn’t clumped at all and I’ll get it mixed right away a as soon as my rodi arrives
