Just wanted to introduce myself. I've been in the hobby for several years, however with two little boys I'm only now getting back into the swing of things since they have grown a little. I have a 350 gallon custom starfire glass tank, led lighting, apex controlled dosing and testers in a 150 gallon sump. I run a mixed reef tank with softies, acro's and fish. I would do inverts if my Red Sea Sail didn't eat them all. I have attached some pics I took last night. In the process of killing of a bunch of mushrooms and zoas that have taken over and then I'm going to start getting some nice corals to replace them.

Welcome, fantastic looking tank.

How are you killing the invasive corals?

Well after realizing the zoas are filled with paly toxin when my fingers went numb I began cutting them off slowly with a long handled razor blade. Then I realized that if I take some plastic fishing weights I can weight down an epoxy blanket and smother them and still be able to remove the epoxy. I will take pictures of the approach and progress and make a new thread. I think this might be a great way for reefers to deal with nuisance coral, algae, ect. The mushrooms and green star polyps seem to be easily killed with a majano wand.
