I love pico reefs and my focus is of course pest corals and nems such as unwanted palys, aiptaisia, majano and stuff. My favorite coral is Xenia and I HATE keeping fish, theyre too sentient im my opinion, but even if I don’t think they’re too sentient I just hate fish in general. I know all about pest anemones so ask me to ID what you think is a pest anemone but I’ll suggest for you to keep them because they look cool. Don’t ask me how to kill them though. I’ve been limit testing them.

Hello aiptasia, hope all is well ^_^

Got at least 3 of them inside my zoas I bought the other month, only very small as not sticking out above zoas yet and only see them at night when zoas are closed. I just left them on the zoa rock and maybe my copperband butterfly will eat them, but idk but no worries ^_^

Welcome! Glad you joined.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:

That is a blurry picture of who knows what :)
Better picture here without zooming in.

I've always thought got 3 little baby aiptasia on this zoa rock ( half the zoas got zoa pox and other half a different kind are ok) but seen some say many kinds of anemones that look alike but all get called aiptasia so just wondered if op had a name other than aiptasia for this one if it has another name that is ^_^

I reported you to the mods. Your moniker is personally offensive to so many of us on here. (Welcome to Reef2Reef)
Merry Christmas from Aiptaisia-X.
