Hi! I'm getting back into it.

Thank you! I wasn't sure if it would be too sensitive or not
Not that I’ve seen. Saved me when my sump flooded once and again when my main power plug came loose. Those are the only two times it has tripped since installing them 2 years ago. Before that I too liked to live dangerously

may want to look into a new tank, after 10 years even thou that silicone feels ok, it might not be. Wait for Petco's 1$ per gallon sale happens.

Awesome seeing you back either way! It will be fun!
Very solid point! Silicone can last 30 years in the right conditions. But leave it out in the sun for a year and it dries and cracks at the surface

Welcome to R2R and back to the salty world. Lots of knowledgeable and helpful people here who will support and advise you when needed. I'm very happy with the performance of my Octo skimmers. They pull out the waste and are super easy to clean.

Welcome to your new home for saltwater reef aquarium resources and fun! Welcome to the family! :D

I've been looking around and I haven't been successful in finding any 65gal drilled tanks at petco. I did get my 20g long for 20 bucks to make the sump. Do you have any suggestions on places to look for drilled tanks that aren't super expensive?
