Hi. Im Kara.

My husband, Mike, and I recently acquired an established 55 gallon aquarium.

Naturally, we are having some issues. Despite extensive reading and research on various topics from various sources, I can't seem to 'catch up.' I'm hoping those of you with established systems will be willing to 'share' with the newbies. In exchange, I'm willing to provide numerous opportunities for you to chuckle over various oversights, miscalculations and typical newbie errors!

Welcome to R2R, you’ve come to an awesome reefing community. We’d love to see pictures of your tank:D
First Monday chuckle: I attempted to attach pics to post. When I was unsuccessful, I decided to read the directions! Y'all will know when I've figured it out...

Welcome to R2R!!!

@Kara What issues are you having?
My one and only coral, Medusa, is 'sick.' It was fine for the first couple of weeks immediately after we moved tank. Despite the advice of LFS and a lot of effort, it seems to be getting worse. Attempting to download picture I took a little while ago.

A pic is a great place to start. More importantly, do you have test kits to provide members with parameters/nutrient levels? The members that are good with corals will want all that info as well to be able to help you out.

Yes! I do have test kits.

I'll test water and begin thread in the 'New to...' forum!
