i started as a freshie as well, but once you go salt you never go back. i personally cant keep an interest in freshwater tanks anymore, but i am somewhat curious about a planted dicus tank.

I started salt and actually really want a planted pico xD Also just my opinion/experience but if you want or can't get a bigger tank I definitely wouldnt shy away from starting with a nano (10~40g)
