Hello everyone! I've been a longtime lurker around this forum, and finally decided to participate.
I became interested in the hobby through my fiancé, who brought his two 50 gallon tanks and all of their inhabitants into my life about three years ago. We have since added a nano tank with a healthy little mini reef system.
I want to say thank you to HumbleFish and everyone else who has posted their experiences with various medications and treatments for the hateful cryptocaryon irritans... It recently snuck into one of our larger tanks (luckily the FOWLR!) and we're gearing up to try to save as many of our 'kids' as possible. I can see why so many folks bail out and sell all their fish stuff after they get hit by something like this: it's devastating and stressful!
Looking forward to meeting new folks!
